As a “fifty-something” empty nester, I am in a season of life where I have time to reflect and share my heart about many things that are dear to me.  Some posts will be difficult topics, some will be fun, and some will be creative.  But hopefully all will be an honest and accurate reflection of a life lived with passion for God and those He has put in my life.  My brother always called me “Jules”.  So it is in his memory that I entitled my blog Julie’s Jewels.  I hope you find the occasional jewel in my writings that encourages you in this amazing journey of life.
